A trek through the lower Chianti hills.
Pick up from your hotel by NCC.
We drive to Impruneta, a small village at the gateway to the Chianti hills around Florence, where we meet our guide, pay a brief visit to the town’s cathedral and then set off on our trek. It will be an easy but exciting route through olive groves and vineyards.
Along the way we will visit the M.I.T.A.L. Terracotta Kiln/Museum, the kiln where Brunelleschi went to buy the tiles to cover the dome of Florence Cathedral.
The tour ends at the farm where we will have lunch and wine tasting.
Finally, departure for Florence.
Return to Florence.
